Truthseekers!
Truthseekers is a group of women and men who have worked with young people from all walks of life. Members of the Board of Directors of Truthseekers and volunteers assisting Truthseekers include educators, social workers, business professionals and non-profit leaders. We are dedicated to empowering youth and young adults who are searching for ways to validate their very existence. We ask you to join Truthseekers in this vital and life-changing work.
Who We Are Truthseekers is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization comprised of a group of individuals dedicated to a life-long search for truth. We help young adults discern meanings and discover values in their own experiences and the experiences of those around them. Truthseekers also reaches out to young adults who have begun their own search for truth and encourages them to mentor youth in the task of recognizing and living their own values.

We believe in the intrinsic value of each person and are dedicated to affirming that value. We each have the ability to look within and find wisdom to live by.
What we believe
In our Truthseekers materials, the three most prominent values are love, forgiveness, and service. Each person’s greatest need is to love and be loved, which is the source of true satisfaction. Forgiveness produces inner peace and the freedom to love. Service is love in action, a force that produces the greatest joy in life.
We assist young people in choosing values they want to incorporate into their lives, give them methods for consciously integrating those values, and create a community that upholds and supports a journey into spiritual awareness.

What we offer
Our curriculum consists of six elements:
• Meanings and Values
• Building Community
• Service (helping ourselves and others)
• Forgiveness (peacemaking)
• Love (respect and caring)
• A uniquely Personal Growth that happens within each Truthseeker during and after the workshops.
Our curriculum is based upon the first five elements. Truthseekers explore these elements together in a series of two-hour workshops held once a week for four weeks. The workshops focus on building relationships with each other while learning to share our experiences. Some activities come to completion during the workshops, others afterwards, asTrutseekers return to their families and communities.
Our Focus
Truthseekers focus is primarily on youth and young adults. Our programs can be modified to work in school districts, community centers, youth outreach organizations, religious organizations, or any other groups that work with youth or young adults. We run these workshops with our own trained facilitators all of whom are past Truthseekers graduates. We can also train your own instructors by taking them through the Truthseekers curriculum.
Our curriculum can be modified to better represent the community environment in which it is being taught. We incorporate outdoor adventures and activities into our programs. We also sponsor artistic and creative experiences in connection with our Truthseekers curriculum.
Truthseekers understands the importance of creating these same opportunities for the entire family. We are in the process of meeting this need by developing a program that meets the need of family.

Help Truthseekers Grow Through Spiritual Vitamins
The Truthseekers organization has been inspiring youth and young adults for many years with amazing programs, designed to grow the self esteem and a real sense of community. We fund our program using various avenues one of which is our production and sales of Spiritual Vitamins.
Spiritual vitamins are a daily reflection to nourish your mind and spirit. Starting with the wisdom from the Bible, you will find a collection of readings inspired by the Holy Spirit. In addition to the Bible vitamins, there are
LOVE, Multi-spiritual, Mercy-Ministry-Forgiveness and a few more that are coming soon. Read them to grow your mind and spirit. Share them with friends and give them as gifts. Where else can you find such an attractive, spiritual gift for a friend or loved one?
The Spiritual Vitamins project started at Expos, where dear friends wanted to give out something other than candy, at their booth. When people would stop by, they would often say, “Have you had your spiritual vitamin today?” From expos and conferences, the vitamins were such a success that the Truthseekers founders decided to produce them as a way of sharing wonderful, encouraging reflections about life. Truthseekers in Taos!
The summer of 2012, July 16th, thru 22nd, we will be co-sponsoring a quest with the Fellowships YaYA committee in Taos New Mexico at the San Geronimo Lodge http://www.sangeronimolodge.com.
You are cordially invited to join us in the mountains of New Mexico, land of enchantment and mystery, for an adventure that will tax your imagination, nurture your spirit of adventure, deepen your understanding of life, entice you to become that powerful individual you were meant to be, and grow in our community of Truthseekers.
Taos is centrally located and a mere 15 hour drive from LA, 13 hours from Omaha, 12 hours from Dallas and Kansas City, 10 hours from Salt Lake City and Oklahoma City, and 5 hours from Denver. For the first 50 Truthseekers that sign up we will reimburse your gas money to and from Taos.
For those of you flying into Albuquerque New Mexico we will arrange transportation for you both from and to the airport. Our age group ranges from 15 to 25, (some exceptions apply). If you have attended a YaYA or Truthseekers event in the past, of course, you are always welcome.
Scheduled Events in TaosWe’ll be white water rafting, rock climbing, mountain exploring, and delving into the great mysteries of the environment around us. We will also continue growing in the knowledge of who we really are and of the destiny that awaits each of us as we journey within towards the recognition of our own personal Truths.
